About Us

Athens, Tennessee

Cabinetmakers who build furniture.

MJ Cabinets Co. is a cabinet shop at 406 Co Rd 135 in Athens, Tennessee, in the foothills between Knoxville and Chattanooga. We bring cabinet-shop standards to solid wood TV consoles, media cabinets, bathroom vanities, console tables, coffee tables and tree bookshelves — built to order and shipped free across the United States.

Why solid wood

Solid hardwood can be sanded, re-oiled and repaired, so a console or vanity can outlast the TV and the remodel it came with.

We keep natural edges wherever we can, so each piece shows the grain of the tree it came from.

What we build

TV consoles & vanities — TV consoles and media cabinets, a vinyl cabinet, console tables and bathroom vanities.
Tables & desks — coffee tables, end tables, a dining table, a dressing table and desks.
Bookshelves & wine racks — tree bookshelves, wall shelves, bathroom shelves and wine racks.
Coat racks & decor — tree coat racks, benches, lounge chairs, floor lamps, a room divider and wall art.
